Maged N Kamel Boulos

A short biography
A former Specialist Dermatologist trained in Egypt, Maged N Kamel Boulos is now a lecturer in Healthcare Informatics at the School for Health, University of Bath, UK. Before his current appointment, he worked as a Research Assistant on an EU-funded telemedicine project at City University, London. As well as his medical degree and MSc in Dermatology, he holds an MSc in "Medical Informatics" from King's College, London, UK, and a PhD in "Measurement and Information in Medicine" from City University, London. He is well published on the topics of the semantic web and geographic information systems (GIS) in health and healthcare and is the Editor-in-Chief of the Open Access, online-only journal, International Journal of Health Geographics.
