Journal society membership

Journal Society Membership provides a mechanism that allows article processing charges to be covered on behalf of society members and other authorized authors submitting to the journal of the learned society. Charges are debited to the Membership account only when and if submissions are published.

Several options are available. The Membership can be paid for in advance, via a Prepay scheme, or in arrears, via a Quarterly Postpay scheme:

Prepay Membership allows member organizations to pay upfront for a number of articles to be processed and published. Upon publication, the full article processing charge for the BioMed Central journal, minus the discount that applies, will be deducted from the account. The higher the amount paid in advance, the greater the discount given.

Postpay Membership customers are invoiced quarterly for the article processing charges for authorized papers that have been published in the societys journal during the last three month period.
