A high performance liquid chromatography method which uses UV detection is capable of quantifying nM concentrations of taxanes in human plasma samples, making it suitable for the sensitive monitoring of taxane levels in people receiving low dose therapy for cancer treatment.

Application of a human physiologically based pharmacokinetic model to experimental data for angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitors indicates the time course of inhibition at inhibitor binding sites and allows dosage dependence of clinical plasma and tissue ACE inhibition to be predicted if in vitro plasma binding kinetics of each ACE site are known.
