Nestin expression in adherent aggregates of neural precursor stem cells Floating cultures of embryoid body-like aggregates (SFEB) cultivated from embryonic stem cell lines, were used to generate neural precursor cell-enriched SFEBs (nSFEBs). Plating nSFEBs on laminin coated substrates, led to radial migration and the generation of cells displaying an elongated-flat morphology, and immunocytochemistry reveals that most of these cells express nestin (green). Cell cultures were also counterstained with 4',6-Diaminodino-2-Phenylindol to visualize cell nuclei.
