This section covers life-threatening diseases of the central or peripheral nervous systems. Topics of include, but are not limited to, coma, status epilepticus, intracranial hemorrhages, neurotrauma, delirium, metabolic encephalopathies, severe stroke, anoxic-ischemic encephalopathy, central nervous system infections and inflammations, Guillain-Barre syndrome, myasthenia gravis crises, intoxications and withdrawal states.
