Research: TBK1, a drug repurposing target for amyotrophic lateral sclerosis

Evidence from druggable genome Mendelian randomization and pharmacological verification in vitro indicate that TBK1 inhibition may be a potential drug target in Motor neuron disease. Two FDA-approved drugs were screened and identified as leads candidates.
