David A Liberles

DAVID A. LIBERLES is an Associate Professor in the Department of Molecular Biology at University of Wyoming and also serves as Director of the UW INBRE Bioinformatics Core. He received his Ph.D. from California Institute of Technology (1997) with Professor Peter Dervan and undertook postdoctoral studies with Professor Steven Benner, then at University of Florida. Dr. Liberles next spent six years as a group leader in Scandinavia before moving to University of Wyoming. His research centers on the fields of computational molecular evolution and comparative functional genomics.
