Visualizing retinal vasculature in the zebrafish eye. Central major vessels of the adult retina (green fluorescence), which radiate into thinner vessels, are visualized by fluorescent microscopy in a transgenic zebrafish line that expresses GFP specifically in blood vessels and enables the visualization of hyaloid and retinal vasculature during development.
