Knock-down of visinin expression in chick retina.In situ hybridization of chick retinas infected with an avian retrovirus that can deliver RNAi-mediating hairpins show reduced expression of visinin (a calcium-binding protein expressed in photoreceptors) in infected areas, which were identified with the anti-gag antibody AMV-3C2.
