The chloride channel CLIC1 in the membrane of Panc1 cells after digitonin treatment. Human pancreatic carcinoma cells were grown on glass coverslips, and extraction was performed using 0.004% (w/v) of the non-ionic detergent digitonin to remove cytoplasmic protein prior to fixation and staining for cytokeratin (green) and CLIC1 (red).
