Image of the Month – March 2006

Expression of the α6 integrin subunit and the urokinase plasminogen activator receptor in pancreatic cancer. Immunohistochemistry of invasive dual adenocarcinomas shows that a6 integrin subunit (A,C) and urokinase plasminogen activator receptor (B,D) are strongly expressed in cancer cells (A,B) but weekly or not expressed in non-cancerous pancreatic regions (C,D).
