ntf-2 eye discs are disorganized. In the eye discs of Drosophila ntf-2 mutants (lower 2 panels), the furrow fails to move and fewer rabdomeres are formed compared to the wild type (upper two panels) Actin cytoskeleton is shown in green, distribution of RanGAP in red, DNA in blue.
