Co-localization of MarvelD3 with occludin at epithelial tight junctions
The transmembrane protein MarvelD3 is visualized by indirect immunofluorescence (red) in human corneal epithelial cells, and shown to co-localize with the tight junction protein occludin (green) at sites of cell contact. Cells were methanol-fixed and stained with antibodies against MarvelD3 and occludin, giving an overlap of signal in yellow, and nuclei were stained with Hoechst (blue).
