A physiotherapist leading clinical trials in primary care for common musculoskeletal problems including low back pain, knee pain and shoulder pain, she is Director of Keele's Clinical Trials Unit, secretary of the UK's Society of Back Pain Research and a member of the International Organising Committee for the Forum for Low Back Pain Research in Primary Care.
