We submitted our manuscripts to BMC Bioinformatics since it is one of the best journals of its type, and the submission procedure is quite easy.

What was your assessment of the electronic submission and peer review process?

The submission procedure is quite easy and the review process is quick too. We received a lot of assistance from the Editorial Office and they are quite friendly.

What do you think you gained from publishing in an open access journal?

Our papers can be viewed by others without registration; this helps us a lot to share our work with anyone else in the world.
