Events

BioMed Central’s events program offers a number of opportunities to meet key scientists face-to-face. Our upcoming events present a wide variety of options for sponsorship and further information is available on our Events page.

Article collections

BioMed Central’s journals regularly develop series of high quality themed articles focusing on topics of current interest to the scientific community. Most series are independently developed by the journals, but are available for support by sponsors who can benefit from exposure to their target audience both during and post-publication. These collections can also be produced in print for distribution at conferences, by the sponsor or through other channels.

Review supplements

Review supplements consist of a series of commissioned articles written by experts in their field and developed to provide in-depth educational publications on topics of interest to scientists and the broader community. BioMed Central welcomes suggestions from sponsors for new supplement topics. All review supplements undergo rigorous peer review according to the same high standards expected for regular journal content.

Reprint collections

Special issues and launch issues

BioMed Central regularly produces special issues of online journals for distribution at key conferences. Launch issues are also produced for new journals. Open Access Waiver Fund

BioMed Central’s Open Access Waiver Fund enables authors from low-income countries to publish their research in our journals without paying article processing charges. Sponsorship of the fund is welcomed from those wishing to recognize the importance of unrestricted access to scientific publications. Further information is available from our Advertising team.
