Doppler imaging of the liver vasculature by intrahepatic use of an intracardiac echography
catheter (ICE). The panel on the left shows the typical arterial wave (in this case corresponding
to the right hepatic artery). The central panel corresponds to the right branch of
the portal vein characterized by a continuous blood flow. The right panel illustrates
the typical modulated flow of hepatic veins in the proximity of the confluence into
the vena cava.
