A) The histogram represents the mean ± SD of HLA-G levels assessed by ELISA in 11 CKD and 13 HD patients. HD patients presented significantly lower HLA-G level compared to CKD (p = 0.04); B) Histogram represents the mean ± SD of CX3CR1 protein level in total cell lysates of 6 CKD and 6 HD patients. CX3CR1 levels were significantly higher in HD compared to CKD patients (p < 0.01). On the right it is reported a representative western blotting experiment. P values were calculated by t-test.
