Analyses of global parameter sensitivity.â€‰Global effects of parameters on model variables are investigated by simultaneously
varying all 19 parameters within a range of one order of magnitude larger and smaller
than baseline values. A random sample of each parameter is generated from the range
with a uniform distribution; the sampling is performed 5,000 times to calculate parameter
sensitivities. Sensitivity value is between 0 and 1; the larger the value, the more
important a parameter is to the output of a variable.
