The number of genes in 2 Mbp bins along the chromosome is plotted with narrow horizontal bars to the right of each chromosome: brown, total number of genes; yellow, number of genes represented in the microarray; green, number of genes expressed in at least one tissue; blue, number of genes differentially expressed in at least one tissue. The scale labeled "Gene counts" represents the number of genes.
