In addition to the Gleason system, the tumors are graded according to Helpap. Here, prostate cancer takes up about 20.2% of the total area of the prostate, which corresponds to an estimated tumor volume of 8.1 cm3 in a prostate of 40 cm3. The computational estimation of tumor volume was performed as previously described by Eminaga et al [6].
