Ian Stewart, Alan A Seawright, Philip J Schluter, Glen R Shaw BMC Dermatology 2006, 6:5 (31 March 2006) Cylindrospermopsis raciborskii produces hypersensitivity reactions in mouse ear tests, unlike other toxic, non-cylindrospermopsin-producing cyanobacteria, suggesting that testing for this strain should be considered for recreationally used bodies of water.
