Receiver Operating Characteristic analysis. Receiver Operating Characteristic (ROC) analysis of the Structure Function Index
Hemifield Test (SFI-HT), Humphrey Field Analyzer Mean Deviation (MD), pattern standard
deviation (PSD) and difference between predicted and actual Heidelberg Retina Tomograph
rim area. Each test was used to distinguish a group of 499 eyes from glaucoma suspects
from a group of 895 eyes with glaucoma. The areas under the SFI-HT, MD, PSD, and HRT
MRA curves are 0.78, 0.78, 0.80, and 0.66 respectively. The performance of the HFA
Glaucoma Hemifield Test (GHT) and HRT Moorfields Classification (MFC) are also shown
along with the performance of defining as abnormal any subject with either of these
tests outside normal limits. Error bars represent 95% confidence intervals for sensitivity
and specificity.
