Suppression of MMP-9 by doxycycline in brain arteriovenous malformations

Did you evaluate the levels of TIMP-4 in these studies?

We have been able to demonstrate a decrease in TIMP-4 in ischemic hearts (with left anterior decending coronary ligation) and furthermore we found that doxycycline ameliorated this decrease.

Since there is a delicate balance between TIMP-4 and MMP-9 it would be quite interesting to know the findings of TIMP-4
