Effect of antibiotic therapy with agents with in vitro inhibitory activity against colonizing methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) strains. One patient (A) received oral vancomycin for treatment of Clostridium difficile-associated diarrhea and a second (B) received oral levofloxacin for treatment of a urinary tract infection.
