The areas under receiver operating characteristic curves were 0.777 ± 0.048, 0.739 ± 0.047, 0.736 ± 0.049, 0.7095 ± 0.0488, 0.660 ± 0.052 for the RF model, portal vein diameter (PVD), spleen width (SW), platelet count/spleen width ratio (PC/SWR) and platelet count (PC) respectively. The ideal area under the curve was 1.00. The reference line represents that based on chance alone (area under the curve 0.50).
