Differences in calpain activity of carotid plaques from asymptomatic and symptomatic
patients. Calpain activity was estimated as described in Materials and Methods. The difference
between asymptomatic and symptomatic plaques was statistically significant (p = 0.034).
The box plot shows minimum, first quartile, median, third quartile, and maximum levels.
