A meta-analysis Karin Ried, Thomas Sullivan, Peter Fakler, Oliver R Frank, Nigel P Stocks BMC Medicine 2010, 8:39 (28 June 2010) Dark chocolate significantly reduces blood pressure in hypertensive subjects, reducing both systolic hypertension and diastolic pre-hypertension, although this decline is less pronounced in normotensive people.
