The effects of voluntary muscle contraction on the decrease and increase ratios of MEP amplitudes. Among the decrease ratios, the ratio at rest was significantly higher than those at all muscle contraction levels (pā€‰<ā€‰0.05), and no significant differences were observed at all muscle contraction levels. In contrast, among the increase ratios, the ratio at rest was significantly higher than those at muscle contractions of 30% and 50% EMG (pā€‰<ā€‰0.05), and no significant differences were observed at all muscle contraction levels.
