The methionine salvage pathway in Bacillus subtilis Agnieszka Sekowska, Antoine Danchin BMC Microbiology 2002, 2:8 (25 April 2002) A complete methionine salvage pathway exists in B. subtilis. Although chemically similar to the pathway in K. pnemoniae, this pathway uses some entirely different proteins, including a protein related to RUBISCO of plants.
