GM-OVA alters the humoral immune response. Mice were immunized as described in figure legend 3. Ovalbumin-specific IgG1 (A) and IgG2a (B) antibodies were determined by ELISA. Shown are the mean OD₄₀₅ values with their SEM (n = 6) from the vaccinated animals. Immune sera were diluted 1 to 10 and 1 to 1000 for the determination of IgG2a and IgG1 antibody levels, respectively. Only statistically significant differences between immunization regimens expressing either ovalbumin or GM-OVA in the one-way ANOVA test are indicated.
