Amino acid alignment of deer mouse (Pema), house mouse (Mus), rat (Rattus) and human (Homo) CCL3. Sequences were aligned as described in Figure 1. The deer mouse fragment represents 45% of the polypeptide and includes the second
and third β-strands, and the α-helix (underlined). The third and fourth conserved
cysteines (*) are also present.
