Nine cyclin- and cyclin-dependent kinase-coding genes show moderate to strong downregulation at both early and prolonged fasting, while 3 of their inhibitors are upregulated in prolonged starvation. At least 4 regulators of cell-cycle transition are also strongly downregulated, indicating overall slow-down of the cell turnover. For the color code and map description see Figure 6.
