Meta-dataset and log-FC matrix. A meta-dataset is a set of multiple datasets. Each dataset consists of a control group and a treatment group, each of which has one or more DNA microarray data. The measured probe (gene) is common to all datasets. The element of F_i,j in log-FC matrix is the log-transformed (base 2) fraction of arithmetic mean values of treatment and control group in i-th gene of j-th dataset.
