REM gliomas are more aggressive than their near-normal counterparts. REM tumors from high-grade glioma outcome-associated dataset GSE4271 are significantly
more aggressive than their non-REM counterparts (logrank p<0.05). Median survivals
for patients with REM (n=49) and non-REM tumors (n=29) were 77 weeks and 148 weeks,
respectively. Mid-range (n=23) and near-normal (n=5) tumor groups were combined to
add weight to the statistical analysis.
