Western blot results of SERCA2 expression in the infarcted tissue and corresponding remote myocardium. SERCA2 (~100 kDa) is under-expressed in the infarcted tissue when compared to corresponding remote myocardium. GAPDH (~37 kDa), used as internal control, showed similar expression in infarcted and remote myocardium of patients with myocardial infarction.
