Coding regions have been translated to amino acid sequences to highlight the position of synonymous (open circles) and non-synonymous (filled circles) substitutions. Note a single non synonymous substitution occurred at amino acid position -28. The lengths of 3'/5' UTRs (blue) and intergenic regions (red) were inferred from comparison of genomic and cDNA sequences. IG1-6 refer to genomic sequence classes derived from PCR and cloning of the intergenic region.
