Sequence alignment of 3' and 5' ends of the HSP90 gene and contiguous intergenic regions. Coding regions have been translated to amino acid sequences to highlight the position
of synonymous (open circles) and non-synonymous (filled circles) substitutions. Note
a single non synonymous substitution occurred at amino acid position -28. The lengths
of 3'/5' UTRs (blue) and intergenic regions (red) were inferred from comparison of
genomic and cDNA sequences. IG1-6 refer to genomic sequence classes derived from PCR
and cloning of the intergenic region.
