The Zur regulon of Corynebacterium glutamicum ATCC 13032

Metalloregulator Cg2502, a zinc uptake regulator (Zur) of the ferric uptake regulator family, controls zinc metabolism in Corynebacterium glutamicum by binding the promoters of five transcription units and repressing, in a zinc-dependent manner, the nine genes they contain.
