The Zur regulon of Corynebacterium glutamicum ATCC 13032 Jasmin Schröder, Nina Jochmann, Dmitry A Rodionov, Andreas Tauch BMC Genomics 2010, 11:12 (7 January 2010) Metalloregulator Cg2502, a zinc uptake regulator (Zur) of the ferric uptake regulator family, controls zinc metabolism in Corynebacterium glutamicum by binding the promoters of five transcription units and repressing, in a zinc-dependent manner, the nine genes they contain.
