Each of the genotypic classes generated in the first two generations of admixture has a unique pair of ancestry S and interclass heterozygosity HI[30,31], or equivalently, a unique set of genomic proportions [33], where p11 is the proportion of the genome homozygous for P1 alleles, p22 is the porportion homozygous for P2 alleles, and p12 = HI is the proportion of the genome heterozygous for alleles derived from each parental lineage.
