Results of the simulation study for varying γ using the model hybrid species tree in Figure 1. The value of γ used to simulate the data is shown in column 1. Columns 2 and 3 give the mean and standard deviation (SD) of the MLEs of γ over the 100 replicates. Similarly, columns 4 and 5, 6 and 7, and 8 and 9 give the means and SDs of the MLEs of the branch length estimates. Column 10 gives the power of the likelihood ratio test of the null hypothesis that γ = 0.
