PubMed Commons is an experimental system of commenting on PubMed abstracts, introduced in October 2013. Comments are displayed on the abstract page, but during the initial closed pilot, only registered users can read or post comments. Any researcher who is listed as an author of an article indexed by PubMed is entitled to participate in the pilot. If you would like to participate and need an invitation, please email info@biomedcentral.com, giving the PubMed ID of an article on which you are an author. For more information, see the PubMed Commons FAQ.

Minor typographical errors

CAROLINA ISABEL MIO   (2011-08-19 12:03)  Universidade Federal de São Carlos - Brazil

Dear reader, we would like to communicate that, unfurtunately and in spite of the several revision stages, minor typographical errors were discovered in the final version of our manuscript published by BMC Evolutionary Biology. We sincerely hope that readers forgive us for these minor errors that do not undermine the quality of our publication. We deeply thank the BMC Editorial Team for extensive help when preparing our manuscript for publication. We assume full responsibility for the small typographical errors in the final version of our paper.
Readers can find below a detailed explanation of the errors in the publication:
• Page 9, line 11 of third paragraph on the left column: it should read Bubulcus ibis;
• Page 5, Figure 2 legend: it should read “Flow-chart outlining the seven-steps approach followed in this study...”;
• Page 8, Figure 4 legend: it should read “Relationships were identified using the procedure outlined in figure 2 and reported in Tables S6-S13”;
• Page 10, Additional file 2: Table S2 legend: it should read PHWE;
• Page 10, Additional file 3: Table S3 legend and Additional file 4: Table S4 legend: it should read 1,000;
• Page 10, Additional file 6: it should read Table S6;
• Page 10, Additional file 8: Table S8 legend: The last words “Relat.: relationship identified” should have been removed;
