mRNA in situ hybridization of TGIF2 in tammar adult ovary. Sections were hybridized with antisense probe without counterstaining. TGIF2 mRNA (purple blue) was predominantly detected in the granulosa cells and theca cells of the secondary follicles (A & B) and tertiary follicles (C). No staining was detected in primary follicles (PF) (A) and TGIF2 mRNA was almost invisible in Graafian follicles (GF) (D). There was no staining detected in the oocytes.
