Number of spectra – number of peak-lists submitted for database search, identified spectra – spectra assigned to a database ID with an either significant probability based Mowse score (PMF-data) or to a peptide sequence with Xcorr > 2, and an ion coverage > 20% (MS/MS-data) given a parent peptide charge z = 2. Identified proteins/peptides – the number of uniquely identified proteins or peptides. A – approximate number of spectra derived from ion fragments of peptides with charge z = 2. B – The number of spectra with charge z = 2 of the parent ion (≈ 53% of all identified spectra).
