These figures show the scatter of the four dimensional factor score vectors (projected onto the plane using MDS) for each algorithm that was compared to uBLU. uBLU, NMF and BFRM obtain a clean separation of samples of symptomatic (red points) and asymptomatic (blue points) subjects whereas the separation is less clear with PCA. In these scatter plots the size of a point is proportional to the time at which the sample was taken during challenge study.
