Distribution of Cse4-binding sites relative to nearest TSSs in yeast. The histogram was generated from the putative Cse4-binding regions merged from three biological replicates identified in yeast [31]. The plot shows that Cse4-binding sites are enriched in regions inside and downstream of the transcription start sites. The mean of the distance to the nearest TSS is 311 ± 160 bases (mean ± SEM).
